PREMISE

Daisuke Kambe is the heir to a Japanese conglomerate, and uses his Tony-Stark-like technology and funds to bribe his way through life. Kambe buys a position in the Tokyo Police, and butts heads with the straight-shooting detective Haru Kato. Hilarity ensues as these buddy cops solve crimes and uncover a mystery surrounding the Kambe family.

CLOSING REMARKS

Millionaire Detective's gimmick is nailing a tone which combines swagger and goofiness, executed with clean animation and good voice acting. The tone shifts darker towards the end, but suprises with a substantive plot.
