The occult / paranormal components of the show weren't as prominent as the title would have made me expect.

Not much cohesion between between occult investigation & aliens+time travel plotlines—they felt more parallel than an integrated story.
OTHER THOUGHTS
•
The show was quite inconsistent; episodes 1–3, 4–10, and 10–13 had their own arcs which made me lose interest.
CLOSING REMARKS
This show spends the meat of its runtime in slice-of-life & comedy dynamics, and the occult part is a backdrop. As long as you expect that, you'll enjoy the nice animation and soundtrack.
