PREMISE
Ron Hamonohashi is Japan's brightest detective—until a classified incident makes the eccentric genius become blackballed by the police, and retire from ever solving crime. Bumbling cop Totomaru Isshiki desperately needs a win in his career, and convinces Ron come out of reclusion with a specific arrangement: Ron will remain in disguise, and Isshiki will take credit for all solved cases.
