PREMISE

In a technologically advanced society where children are taught to be espers, high-schooler Touma Kamijou has zero powers of his own, wretched luck, and even cancels the abilities of those around him. Touma’s scientific reality turns upside down once a young nun—Index—shows up on his doorstep with amnesia and a fatal injury, begging Touma to shelter her from sorcerer-priest pursuers. Together, Index and Touma confront magicians and espers alike, becoming embroiled in a secret conflict between the factions of science and magic.
