PREMISE
Soccer club East Tokyo United (ETU) is in danger of being kicked out of Japan's top football league. ETU's last hope is former player Tatsumi Takeshi, who abandoned the team years ago to coach in Europe. Giant Killing is the story of ETU's struggle to victory!

Animation — It was angular, like Dragon Ball Z meets soccer.

Sountrack — the music varied from rock, to classical, to jazzy --all at the right times.

It got VERY intense at times -- and I loved it. I was skeptical going into this show, but ended up enjoying the cheesy, play-by-play drama.

This was the first sports anime I watched! was suspicious but pleasantly surprised.

Takeshi Tatsumi was voiced by the same actor who played Domon in G Gundam and Daru from Stein's Gate
CLOSING REMARKS
Haven't seen other sports anime to compare this to, but I certianly enjoyed it. Would recommend it as a silly show which was surprisingly emotionally engaging.
