A year after the events of S1, Tekkadan's orphans run a successful security company and princess Kudelia is active in Terran politics—but their efforts have backfired: Exposing the interplanetary police Gjallarhorn's corruption created a power vacuum which only increased terrorism, economic instability, and militia use of child soldiers. Constrained by their newfound positions of power, and now facing full-scale retribution from Gjallarhorn, our protagonists must struggle further to achieve interplanetary peace and justice.
It's Game of Thrones, but Gundam. This sci-fi mech space opera is a dark reality, with half-moral inviduals and factions forming alliances and betraying each other for their own benefit. The engaging plot twists and high production value make it a classic 'adult entry' to the franchise. Bravo, Sunrise.
