PREMISE

Humans, monsters, and demons all coexist on the Itogami island of Japan. Ordinary high-schooler Kojou's life is changed after suddenly becoming a powerful vampire, finding himself at the center of a plot of religious zealouts and other superpowered organizations.... one of which is the Lion King Agency, who sent Himeragi, a middle school girl with a magical lance to protect him... or ... the world... or something.

the monster / demon / homunculus / vampire elements are kinda cool

DISLIKED...

protagonists and villains were not well developed, so it wasn't easy to care about them

"vampire" / "blood-sucking" / random-underwear-exposure fanservice wasn't particularly funny, titillating, or even meaningful to the story

CLOSING REMARKS

Typical light novel crap which panders to your inner teen male fantasy. The cheap fanservice and overpowered MC's supernatural adventures don't execute on the genre well, at least in this first season. There are other, better shows to scratch these same itches.
