PREMISE
The scientific Academy City is showing cracks in its esper-cultivating program, and is the battleground for a magical power struggle between the Roman Catholic and English Puritain churches, as well as terrorist scientists. Interwoven stories have Touma Kamijou, Index, Misaka Mikoto, and Accelerator all fend off various challengers while discovering more of Academy City's secrets.

CLOSING REMARKS
A disappointingly passive Touma and Index are offset by Season 2 focusing on the interesting supporting cast, new antagonists, colorful action scenes, and deeper lore. The goofy melodramatic anime fun continues.
