PREMISE

Superpowered vampires—Ghouls—live undercover in Japan, preying on humans. Kaneki, a normal human boy, gains ghoul powers after a ghoul attack mains him and the EMTs give him an emergency transplant of the ghoul’s organs. Kaneki gets caught up in the Ghoul underworld, their struggles for survival, the various ghoul factions fighting for power, and the human CCP police agency hunting them.

CLOSING REMARKS

Stylish show, with over-the-top villains which reappear as allies—typical anime drama. Good music, well animated, and gory action. Worth a watch!
